Beware Adult (& Others) Bathroom Wipes Freshness

The bathroom wipe holder concept - the brand we use is our household is Cottonelle - while very pretty and seemingly functional is not the best at keeping bathroom wipes the freshest for extended periods of time...Thus a word for the wise if you are a fan of bathroom wipes and use a Cottonelle or similar holder beware of 2 potential freshness factors that I have come across.

The likelihood of the part of the wipe that remains outside of the main container but is being guarded by the inlet top from getting dry is HIGH.

When refilling your holder you should put the new wipes at the bottom and move the older ones to the top to ensure you use them while they are still fresh and moist and not dried up. Make sure to wash your hands your grubby hands when performing this exercise so that the clean wipes remain clean and sterile for when you need the wipes for their intended purpose.

To Pay or Not to Pay? Bathroom Trash Can Price Absurdities

Seriously, there are people out there that will pay $99 for a bathroom trash can, otherwise stores like Restoration Hardware's would not think of selling such an item like the Newbury Wastebasket.

And while it's a nice trash can, it's not very spectacular, its rather ordinary for $99. (just sayin')

Interesting Pee Fact

Apparently, people produce about 1 to 2 quarts of urine each day!
